Jakarta, May 24, 2019 - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM; IDX: ANTM; ASX: ATM) is pleased to announce that the Company conducted the “SOE Present for The Nation” Program through the Safari Ramadhan 1440 H in Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. As a part of “The SOE Present for Nation” program which was instated by The State Owned Enterprises (SOE’s) Ministry, ANTAM was appointed as Coordinator Program for South East Sulawesi Province. Meanwhile, PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Persero) (Jasindo) and PT Indofarma (Persero) Tbk (Indofarma) was assigned as Co-Coordinator for the program. The Safari Ramadhan event was attended by ANTAM's Operations and Production Director, Hartono, Regent and Deputy Regent of Kolaka and Head of the Kolaka Region House of Representative
ANTAM's Operations and Production Director, Hartono said:
“In 2019, The SOE’s Ministry has initiated a series of Safari Ramadhan 1440 H activity in 34 provinces throughout Indonesia to build positive relation with the SOE’s stakeholder in line with aim of SOE’s Ministry and SOE Company as agent of development. Through the implementation of “The SOE Present for Nation” program, we hoped our presence will bring positive contribution for the community.”
The inauguration of Safari Ramadhan 1440 H activity was begin with the orphanage donation for a thousand of orphan and disadvantage family recipient and coupled with the infrastructure donation activity for five place of worship and Islamic boarding school in Kolaka Regency.
In addition ANTAM, Jasindo and Indofarma also provided the educational scholarship support for 135 student from elementary to high school level. During the event, the SOE Company also distributed a thousand of Qur’anic books for 20 Qur'an Educational School in Kolaka Regency.
